Disclosure in plain language
MetricFit is free to use because of affiliate commissions. Some links on this site — including links in assessment results and articles — are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, we may earn a commission from the retailer. You pay nothing extra.
How this works
- Participating products are priced, fulfilled, and shipped by the retailer — not by us.
- We use a unified commission model: participating retailers pay the same standard rate, so there is no financial incentive to rank one brand over another.
- Safety vetoes (pregnancy, conditions, medications) and evidence grading are applied before any commercial logic. A product that fails screening never earns a commission, because it is never shown.
- Where a product has no affiliate program, we can still recommend it; where a good match is worse than an alternative, we say so.
FTC statement
In line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commissionu2019s 16 CFR Part 255 guidance on endorsements and testimonials: we receive material compensation for some outbound links, that compensation does not determine our editorial conclusions, and each recommendation slot that carries an affiliate relationship is marked with rel="sponsored" and visible disclosure text.
